Beyond the South Florida Spec House Norm

Our clients look to us to develop and implement a successful interior design concept for their project no matter where it is located. However, how it is achieved and ultimately executed can vary greatly from region to region. In the northeast, most new construction custom residential projects are composed of a team of professionals (architect, builder, interior designer, landscape designer) that works closely together in a cohesive and collaborative fashion on a project. We share concepts and ideas that incrementally improve each of our individual areas of specialization within a project and therefore improve the project as a whole. This team approach creates the best finished product/projects and creates the most satisfied end clients and designer/client relationships.
By contrast, South Florida’s design, construction and architecture industry works far differently. The professional team approach is not common. Architects and builders prefer spec home construction to working directly with residential custom home clients and professional design teams. They do this so they can control the project and costs however in the process creating a very generic home interior using poor quality vendors and products.
We have found an audience of clients who aspire to something better than the South Florida spec house norm. They want something more developed and well considered.
